AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT ACT 1995:
OVERTIME ENTITLEMENT

 
From 1 January 2023, entitlement for overtime payment will be extended to employees with wages from RM2,001 to RM4,000 per month. To determine which employees fall within the criteria of being paid wages up to RM4,000 per month, it follows definition of wages under section 2 of the Employment Act 1955.
