Propay Partners, a payroll outsourcing & employee mobility solutions firm, has been acquired by activpayroll, a leading global professional services organisation, providing integrated global and domestic payroll solutions to companies worldwide. Discussions started earlier this year and the move is based on a long-standing and successful partnership between the two businesses.

activpayroll started 21 years ago in Aberdeen, Scotland. Over the years, it has grown from its original base to a global business servicing over 1,200 customers across 154 countries with 13 offices in 10 countries.

Becoming part of activpayroll will extend the suite of services Propay Partners can offer to its multinational customers. Together, Propay Partners and activpayroll aim to provide unlimited value to clients through service innovation, while delivering a brand promise that ensures efficient and compliant payroll solutions so that clients can focus on growing their businesses. 

activpayroll has big plans for growth in Asia Pacific and sees Propay Partners at the centre of that expansion. Malaysia is perfectly placed geographically to service the largest customers in Asia, as well as access a highly-skilled talent pool, which will help further enhance the service offering. The expectation is that, by working together, growth will accelerate as a result of providing the ideal environment to support existing customers while building on activpayroll’s success in the region.
