CLIENT PROBLEM
A global dairy manufacturing giant selling its numerous products across 140 countries was looking for an outsourcing partner to streamline its financial reports. The brand entered Malaysia in 1975 and had 250 personnel since inception. Although this figure doubled in the following years, the company’s IT and HR processes were still manually handled, a feat unthinkable for a global exporter.
Operating through co-operatives, the company has a lot of employees on the road, engaged in collection and delivery. They had acquired another company and were on the path to expansion but their payroll systems seemed to lag behind, unable to keep up with the company’s expansion and staff strength.
PAIN POINTS
We also made sure their staff could access our range of cloud-based Employee Self Service (ESS) features which would help them log in overtimes, apply for on-call allowance, report leaves, apply for claims and access medical aid as they went about their day. Our ESS app available on smartphones also made it easier for employees to access HR services.
We also automated their entire payroll data so that employees and managers could access data on cloud rather than sifting through bundles of files. It also helped them maintain proper financial records every year and get better insight into what their expenditure looked like in select departments.
